An attractive and affluent city, it’s the perfect place to settle down and raise a couple of kids. But if you look past the white picket fences, you’ll find that things in Trenton are not as they might first seem. For the city plays home to those who are more than human.
And it is those who are more than human who are caught in a battle in the moonlit underworld of the city. With a crime wave unlike any the supernatural community has seen in centuries raining down upon the secret streets, the Directorate has its hands full and isn’t getting the support of everyone. There are some who don’t believe they should hide from the humans they live amongst and are willing to fight to bring about a new reality, one where the ancient races rule. With the pact which forbade them their most basic urges about to expire, the streets of Trenton are close to becoming a war zone. And soon everyone will have a choice: to stand with the dark, or against it.
